According to Asus UK’s Facebook web page, the Eee Pad Slider and also the 3G-enabled version of the Eee Pad Transformer tablet will become available in the British Isles sometime this August.
The actual WiFi-only Asus Eee Pad Transformer is already available in the UK since April 2011. In Germany, the Asus Eee Pad Slider offers surfaced at Amazon but didn’t release information about prices or an exact ship date.
Asus Eee Mat Slider Android tablet packs a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen display with resolution of 1280 x Eight hundred pixels, a slide-out physical Texting keyboard, a microSD card slot, mini USB and mini HDMI ports, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, the 5MP rear-facing camera, and a One.2MP front-facing camera.
The Eee Pad Slider is boasts a 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of eMMC flash storage space, and runs Google android Honeycomb OS.
